If the nbn network is unavailable, services delivered over the network will not operate. This includes telephony services provided by your phone or internet provider over the nbn network. This means you will not be able to make calls to Triple Zero (000) using those services.
You may still be able to call 000 if you have:
- A mobile phone with coverage
- A Wi-Fi router with mobile back-up capability and power
nbn does not operate mobile networks or the Triple Zero Emergency Call Service.
For advice on back-up options, contact your phone or internet provider.
